My name is Dennis Matranga. I am a Certified Flooring Inspector in all floor covering categories including commercial flooring products and ASTM 1869 / ASTM 2170 concrete moisture testing. I have over thirty years of in depth experience in the Floor Covering Industry. I have performed thousands of inspections and claims from a Manufacturing, Consumer, Dealer, Distributor, Insurance claims, General Contractor, and Restoration/Remediation perspective throughout my career. My experience includes all type products and categories of flooring products and applications, installation procedures, materials, and accessories.
I started my career in Floor Covering as a Manager at Color Tile, the first “Do It Yourself” national flooring company. I gained in depth knowledge in all flooring product categories, application, and installation procedures. I trained both new employees and consumers on proper product application, installation procedures, materials, maintenance, etc.
I was a “Full Bag” Distributor Representative for eight years, and a Manufacturer’s representative for another 10 years. Once again knowledge included proper product application, installation, and materials in all product categories. I am a Certified Floor Inspector for Residential and Commercial Carpet, Carpet Tile, Wood, Ceramic/Porcelain Tile, Laminate, Resilient Vinyl Sheet Goods, Luxury Vinyl Plank, Luxury Vinyl Tile, Vinyl Composition Tile, and Natural Stone.
